Bespoke is a term often used by tailors in exclusive outfitters; they make a one off piece of clothing and cut the cloth “according to your measure” as the saying goes.
As such, our Bespoke Adventures are designed around you exclusively. While you can use one of our tours as a template, and add and subtract features, we encourage you to start with a clean slate and decide exactly how you want your vacation to be. Usually guests choose a 5-night, 6-day option, but any period is possible. A 5-star Bespoke Adventures requires a Private Tour, which starts from as low as $9950* for two persons sharing.
READ A REVIEW OF A BESPOKE TRIP
One of our Bespoke Adventures in the past was for a group of surgeons coming to Ireland from the U.S. for five days. While they wanted to bike every day, they also wanted to play a lot of golf in championship courses, in different parts of the country. In order to get from Ballybunion, Co. Kerry to the K Club in Co. Kildare, a journey time, which by road would have taken over five hours, they were presented with a logistical challenge that no other operator would overcome. Instead, we got in a helicopter so the gentlemen were able to make two tee-times in different parts of the country, on the same day. They also got a short 15-mile spin on their bikes before breakfast!
Another request was from a gentleman who wished to do something extra special for his wife to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. It was one of those moments when discussing it with me that I knew a bottle of champagne and a nice dinner was not going to cut it. He was looking for a serious ‘wow’ factor.
When I suggested a pleasure flight around the island of Ireland over the course on a beautiful clear summer’s evening his face lit up. I made a few calls and the next afternoon I was taking them to a small aerodrome where a private plane awaited.
They saw every inch of coastline and sights like The Giants Causeway, Ireland's Eye, The Rock of Cashel, The Aran Islands, The Burren and the Blasket Islands from the air and toasted their anniversary with a bottle of vintage champagne.
Of course, not every gesture has to be so grand.

CANCELLATION OF BESPOKE TRIPS:
We strongly recommend you take out suitable travel insurance so that you are covered should you need to cancel your trip (‘trip cancellation insurance’).
In the event that you need to cancel your trip, and owing to the nature of a Bespoke (Made to Measure) Trip, we will be happy to refund your payments, less a $2,500 per passenger administration fee, in full providing you give us at least 90 days notice prior to trip date. This is to cover the substantial research and pre-trip costs which we must incur. Your trip insurance however very likely will cover any shortfall.
If you cancel your trip less than 90 but more than 61 days prior to trip date then we will refund your payments less a $2,500 per passenger administration fee, and an administration fee (to cover 50% of the fees of Guides who might otherwise not be able to find alternative suitable work on short notice). Your trip insurance however very likely will cover any shortfall.
If you cancel your trip less than 60 but more than 31 days prior to trip date then we will refund your payments less a $2,500 per passenger administration fee, and an administration fee (this is to cover 75% of the fees of Guides who might otherwise not be able to find alternative suitable work on short notice). Your trip insurance however very likely will cover any shortfall.
If you cancel your trip less than 30 days prior to trip date then unfortunately we cannot guarantee any further refund of payments. However we will work with our partner hotels, private dining partners and restaurants etc to arrange a rescheduled tour. It is entirely at the discretion of the individual third party service providers to issue refunds or to facilitate a rescheduled visit. Your trip insurance however very likely will cover any shortfall.
